Vox will file an unconstitutionality appeal against the state of alert before the Constitutional Court. This was announced by its leader, Santiago Abascal, during the debate on the extension to Congress
“Tomorrow, we will file an appeal for unconstitutionality before the Constitutional Court for the temporal scope and the nature of the state of alert they bring to Parliament today,” he said.
Abascal dismissed the state of alarm as a “disguised state of emergency” to “limit freedom of movement and assembly” and accused the government of acting “out of irresponsibility and depravity”. “They are completely crazy,” he told the executive from the speakers’ platform.
