The president of the Community of Madrid has already reacted to the approval of the state of alert that the government announced as a drastic measure to try to stop the curve of coronavirus infections in Spain, one of the countries most most affected by the global pandemic. He does not think this measure is positive for the Madrid region.

More precisely, Isabel Díaz Ayuso described this new state of alert as “failure and indicated that this situation“ could have been avoided. ”The highest leader of the Madrid government thus breaks with what his vice-president expressed, Ignacio Aguado, who a few hours before he declared on the sixth night that the state of alarm should not be “demonized” and that he “would have already asked for it.”

On the other hand, Díaz Ayuso has already confirmed that the curfew in Madrid will start at 00:00 and end at 06:00. In this sense, he also stressed that the bars will be able to close at 00:00 and that the restrictions for basic health zones are maintained throughout Madrid.

Madrid is currently one of the communities most affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, having recorded nearly 20,000 new cases last Friday in less than 24 hours. Autonomy has a total of 293,000 infections since the start of the pandemic, of which more than 10,000 people have died.

Different is the position taken from Murcia by the president of the region, the popular López-Miras, who expressed his “loyalty” to the government after the approval of this decree and “reached out” to jointly face the virus. and, therefore, lowering the contagion curve, which continues to soar in our country.
