The cryptocurrency market was broadly mixed on Tuesday, without any clear triggers to move major altcoins upward or downward. Bitcoin Cash [BCH], meanwhile, was largely flat. Selling pressures were capping most of its gains, inhibiting the coin from posting significant gains.

BCH/USD

The virtual currency initially found support at $627.9, after which it continued rising. The coin experienced a breakout from the first resistance level, which can be traced at $632.9. At present, the crypto is facing resistance at $645.4.

At the time of writing, the MACD showed that the coin was slowly making its way into bullish territory. The 100 EMA line indicated that the virtual currency was in an uptrend. BCH was exhibiting a significant trading range of $624.1-$652. As of 1843 GMT, the digital asset was had inched 0.9 percent higher against the U.S. dollar to trade at $633.7.

BCH/BTC

The digital coin, at the time of writing, had slipped 0.4 percent against BTC. Currently, one BCH is equivalent to around 0.0858 BTC.

  • Longforecast has predicted that the crypto will end the year at $412 and hit $1,150 by the end of 2020.
  • According to Smartereum, the virtual currency will trade at around $6,700 in one year, while the five-year forecast is set at around $24,600.
  • Tradingbeasts has forecast that the coin could reach $1,930-$2,838 by the end of this year. Profitconfidential, on the other hand, expects the crypto to scale to around $7000 by the end of 2018.
