EY Abogados promotes more than a hundred professionals, including six in the Partner category
EY Abogados continues its policy of attracting and retaining talent despite the complex macroeconomic environment resulting from the pandemic. The firm has promoted a total of 115 professionals for the new fiscal year, which runs from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. Six of the promotions were in the Partner category: Olga Cecilia, Jos Luis Risco, Manuel Paz and Marcos Prez ( new partners in the areas of personal counseling services, in the first two cases, and Tax in the last two); and Florencia Gaido and Jos Carnerero (non-participating partners in tax and legal matters, respectively).
The firm currently has around a thousand professionals after adding around 70 new hires in the current fiscal year. An intense policy of attracting talents which has already consolidated in 2019 EY Abogados as the Firm with the most incorporations by then including more than a dozen partners in the project.
In the words of Roco Reyero and Ramn Palacn, co-managers of EY Abogados, “organizations are facing relevant regulatory changes in a truly complicated global context. We have widely recognized professionals in their respective disciplines who enable us to provide comprehensive, high-value advice that businesses need to make the right decisions for the survival and growth of their business. We will continue to expand teams with new talent and promote internal professional careers ”.
In this sense, the diversity of EY Abogados’ teams allows the development of global and complete solutions to meet (or even anticipate) in an extraordinary way the needs of customers. In fact, the Firm has recently added, in addition to professionals with technical knowledge typical of law, profiles with other training, including STEM -Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics-.
EY Abogados closed last year with a turnover of 136.2 million euros, 10% more than the previous year. The Firm has five consecutive years of double-digit growth and has doubled its turnover over the past 8 years.
