Globant (NYSE: GLOB), a leading native digital company delivering innovative technology solutions, announced the launch of the Globant Awards 2020: Women that Build Edition, a global award created to promote recognition of women leaders in technology. The award aims to highlight professionals who generate a positive impact in the industry.

Composed of prestigious international names, the global jury will include personalities such as The Edge, musician of the group U2 and president of Endeavor Ireland; Shari Loessberg, Senior Lecturer in Technological Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management at MIT Sloan School of Management; Linda Rottenberg, co-founder and CEO of Endeavor Global; and Beatriz Argimn, Vice-President of Uruguay, among other relevant names. In Spain, this initiative is led and promoted by Sonia Pacheco, communications and marketing director for the EMEA region at Globant, and has stellar local juries such as Vernica Pascual, CEO of ASTI TechGroup, Gabriela V. Orille, manager global innovation of Andbank and co-CEO of MyInvestor, Esther Paniagua, recognized and awarded journalist in the digital and technological field, all TOP 100 women in Spain and Sandra Sieber, professor at the famous business school IESE.

The selection process for the Globant Awards: Women that Build Edition will include national editions and a global final from which the following categories will be awarded:
Technology Executive: Recognizes STEM training executives (who occupy the role of C-level vice president and director, in companies or IT fields) and who inspire women and industry in general Game Changer: Professionally oriented senior managers who, although they have no technological background, occupy a leadership position in an organization (C-level executive, vice president or director role) and have generated a positive impact with their actions in the IT industry. Rising Star: Recognize a woman under the age of 26 who demonstrates innovation through the use of technology, has high potential, a history of self-improvement, and / or has progressed rapidly in her career.
