Imran Khan: Imran Khan bowed under pressure from India and declared 11 terrorists involved in Mumbai attack Most Wanted – Pakistan

Islamabad
Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan finally succumbed to pressure from India. Pakistan is compelled to take strong action against terrorists, defeated by successful diplomacy from India. After that, Pakistan’s Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) put the names of 11 terrorists involved in the Mumbai attack on the new Most Wanted List. Not only that, a reward was also announced for telling the whereabouts of these terrorists.

Pakistani terrorists carried out the Mumbai attack
Let us tell you that on November 26, 2008, terrorists from Lashkar-e-Taiba carried out attacks in many places in Mumbai at the instigation of the Pakistani army and the intelligence agency. About 155 people, including many foreigners, were killed in this terrorist attack. After that, the NSG team launched Operation Black Tornado and eliminated the terrorists. The mastermind behind this attack is Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi who was released on bail after his arrest in Pakistan.

Pakistan troubled by India’s seat at FATF
Pakistan is today surrounded by India’s effective strategy in the Financial Action Task Force, an organization created to prevent money laundering and terrorism around the world. At the full-time FATF meeting last month, it was agreed to keep Pakistan on the gray list so as not to work against terrorism. The FATF said that to date Pakistan has only completed 21 of its 27 action plans. This also includes not taking action against the terrorists wanted in India, Maulana Masood Azhar and Hafiz Saeed.

These countries including America and France are also against Pakistan
Apart from that, the four candidate countries – America, Britain, France and Germany are also not satisfied with its commitment to take strict action against terrorist organizations operating from Pakistani territory. US President Donald Trump himself has heard from Pakistan on several occasions about terrorism. Not only that, Imran Khan has clarified his stance against terrorism by opening a front against French President Emmanuel Macron.

Why Pakistan was forced to act against terrorists
How Pakistan wants to get out of the FATF gray list. But for that to happen, he will have to take strong action against terrorists. This is why Pakistan put these terrorists on the most wanted list for the sake of appearance. If Pakistan remains on the gray list, its economic situation is set to deteriorate further. Pakistan will also find it difficult to obtain financial support from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and the European Union. The situation of Pakistan, which already lives in the state of Bengali, will worsen. Pakistan can also obtain financial assistance from other countries. Because no country wants to invest in an economically unstable country.

What is the FATF
The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is an intergovernmental body created in 1989 by the group of G7 countries in the French capital, Paris. Its job is to monitor money laundering, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and the financing of terrorism at the international level. In addition, the FATF also promotes the effective implementation of legal, regulatory and operational funding measures. The FATF’s decision-making body is called the FATF plenary. Its meeting takes place three times a year.
