The community of Madrid

Madrid announced last Friday that they would maintain the curfew for the time being. Madrid’s Minister of Health, Enrique Ruiz Escudero, stressed that “the curfew between 00:00 and 06:00 will remain in force and its continuity will be studied”, without however specifying how long this measure will remain in force.

Deputy Public Health Minister Antonio Zapatero also recommended that during curfew hours only cohabitants stay at home on Friday.


For its part, the Junta de Andalucía has brought the curfew forward to 10 p.m. and has limited non-essential activity until 6 p.m. except in Granada, where it has declared a total closure. On Monday, the Minister of Health and Family, Jesús Aguirre, admitted in an interview on “Canal Sur” that the Council wanted to advance the curfew even further: before 10 pm. However, he assured that the central government did not allow it.


The Official Journal of the Generalitat of Catalonia published on Monday the extension for 15 additional days of the curfew throughout Catalan territory, which prohibits going out between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., except for essential trips. .

Castile and Leon
