“Armenian Blockchain Forum” in Yeravan witnessed by dignitaries from around the world 6930

Armenian Blockchain Forum was attended by approx. 600 IT specialist coming from 20 countries around the world. The event was solely dedicated to blockchain technologies. The attendees came from across the world to discuss about the important issues in the creation of decentralized technologies. The event was held in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.

Suren Karayan, Armenia’s minister of economic development and investments addressed the event. He spoke about the decentralized technologies. According to him, decentralized and distributed registry technologies have gained importance. He stated that its application is in different economic sectors of the industries.
He stated, “The decentralized technologies enable to conduct an activity and provide services without participation of mediators, thus increasing the transparency of the process. There are two main factors in international practice that undermine the use and development of blockchain technologies, the first one is the insufficiency of knowledge, and the second is the security.” He addressed the event saying that the dignitaries have this opportunity of discussing the key issues and its possible solutions in the forum.
