During Build 2019, Microsoft announced .NET 5, the next big version of the .NET family. It is a unified platform that developers can work with across different platforms including Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, Android, tvOS, watchOS, and WebAssembly, etc. After testing the previews with developers over the past few months, Microsoft today announced the general availability of .NET 5.0.

You can download it for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Either for x86, x64, ARM32 or ARM64 processors. A jump in quality that we will notice when it starts to be implemented by the developers.
