Tron (TRX) beats Bitcoin (BTC), becomes the top mention on Twitter in the last hour
A recent report revealed that Tron is the top mention on Twitter in the last hour. In fact, it has even surpassed Bitcoin. From this, it is evident that people were talking and discussing this crypto than most of the other cryptocurrencies.
Interestingly, the report comes just a few days after Twitter visited Tron’s office. The reason behind the meet and what exactly was discussed is still a mystery to the community. The curiosity, of course, led to a number of speculations. In fact, a Redditor mentioned that the reason could be the BitTorrent connection that both shares.
The Redditor shared a screenshot mentioning that social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter use BitTorrent internally to move files around. For those who aren’t aware, BitTorrent was acquired by Justin Sun in the month of June. So, speculations suggest that Twitter’s visit to Tron headquarters is somehow related to this.

As soon as that ends, Justin Sun promised to reveal about a secret project. The curiosity surrounding the project is also high and is again linked to BitTorrent by some Reddit users.
Meanwhile, popular hardware wallet Ledger Nano S recently announced that it will be supporting the blockchain. They mentioned, “TRX can be managed from a Ledger Nano S through the use of Tronscan Desktop and the Tron app on your Ledger device. Both are developed and supported by the Tron community.”
This is not all, in the last few months, Tron had a number of exciting developments including acquiring BitTorrent, Pornhub accepting TRX as a payment option, and more. Currently, it is at number 11, trading at $0.034 with a volume of $1.86 million in the last 24 hours.
