Tron(TRX) founder Justin Sun brought BitTorrent already?
Tron (TRX) have had all good news for the last couple of weeks. Among all this, possibility of buying BitTorrent by the founder Justin Sun was one of the biggest news in the crypto world.
The news broke around May 25, 2018 mentioning that Tron founder might acquire BitTorrent (renamed Rainberry Inc. in 2017). It was also reported that the pursuit to purchase BitTorrent has been ongoing since September 2017.According to StockGazette, there have been a lot of misleading information over the internet in the last couple of days. But, the report confirmed that the renamed Rainberry Inc. doesn’t exist because there’s no official website available. It was not even found on LinkedIn.
Earlier this year, Justin Sun sued BitTorrent for apparently violating a No shop clause. He also reportedly requested a restraining order for BitTorrent in order to stop communication with potential buyers. According to a TorrentFreak report, the acquisition had not been finalized but Sun apparently registered a holding company under the alias “Rainberry Acquisition”.
Tron’s new partnerships
Meanwhile, Tron is making groundbreaking deals, with three new partnerships in 24 hours. Tron secured support from a Chinese ‘over-the-counter’ exchange OTCBTC. The existing TRX ERC20 tokens can be deposited by the users into the exchange before June 21, to ensure that it remains safe until after the MainNet migration.
Recently, it also announced its partnership with Shiftmarkets, a new cryptocurrency exchange and brokerage company. D2F, an entertainment media industry has announced that it will run for a Tron Super Representative in the upcoming Tron Super Representative Elections on June 26th.
Market Performance of Tron (TRX)
Though many expected that the prices would shoot up with the MainNet launch, but that has not been the case. Tron cryptocurrency plunge as low as $0.056 on June 1. However, it is slowly picking up the pace with a 2.85% value rise over the last 24 hours. TRX is now valued at $0.597, market cap of $3.927 billion USD making it rank 10th in the cryptocurrency list.
