Features of the wallet
The Aphelion web wallet has been equipped with the same features as its app-based NEO wallet. The wallet is currently available for Android. With the introduction of this wallet, users will be able to able to check their latest transactions, tailor their wallets with encrypted keys and transact in NEO, GAS & NEP-5 assets. They will also be able to view their NEO portfolio from a mobile browser.
The company stated that it is based on NEO blockchain, as it ‘supports faster development and deployment of smart contracts and projects, as it enables developers to build on programming languages already familiar with them’.
The mobile wallets of Aphelion cannot be accessed to the Aphelion DEX and is currently undergoing development on the NEO TestNet. For the time-being, users have to use the Aphelion desktop wallet at this time. DEX-based trading will be added to the mobile platforms after its smart contract is published on the NEO MainNet.
“Apple has approved the iOS app and we are awaiting for them to release it into approved markets, they are auditing each countries legalities and we do not have an ETA from them at this time,” the company said.
