Binance supports CBM airdrop for ARN token holders
In a recent announcement, Binance has stated that it will support the CryptoBonusMiles (CBM) airdrop for those users who hold the Aeron (ARN) token on the exchange. This is as per the request by the Aeron (ARN) team.
The exchange has plans of taking a screenshot of all ARN balances on 30 November 2018 at exactly 23.59 PM UTC and issue the airdrop of CBM at a ratio of 1:18. Each holder will get 18 CBM tokens for every ARN that they hold.
The exchange also listed out a few points to be noted prior to and after the airdrop. Those holders who have less than 1 ARN will be excluded from participating in the airdrop. This will also include those who are in trade orders.
After the completion of the CBM distribution, users will be able to withdraw CBM to their own wallets.
However, the process required for trading and listing airdropped tokens will be in a strict manner similar to that of any other coin/token. Binance’s default position is no listing.
A month back, the Aeron team announced the same in their Medium blog. The reason for the airdrop is to celebrate the CryptoBonusMiles Alpha release which will happen soon.
The team has also planned on a giveaway for the members of the Aeron Community in order to spread the word.
250 winners from the lucky draw will get 5,000 CryptoBonusMiles each.
Aeron also announced that the registration for the lucky draw is compulsory for users to avail the guaranteed airdrop.
Aeron will issue the airdrop of CBM at a ratio of 1:1 by value, which Aeron assumes to be 0.02 USD (2 US Cents)
According to a recent report by BC Focus, eToro has released a research paper on Binance Coin [BNB], which claims that the cryptocurrency is both a utility token and a security.
