Coinbase bug attack halts fund withdrawal, Canadian users uproar 20306

A panic mood sets in among the users of Canada as bug attack has recently halted the fund withdrawal from Coinbase. On 1st August, 2018 the issue began to creep up in the system of the exchange that extended its impact to Venezuela. The impact of the bug on the Coinbase system has not just prevented Canadian users but also few more nations.

Statement from Coinbase official

In an interview with CCN, a spokesperson of this exchange reported that the underlying reason behind the matter is a bug. However, the exchange has addressed and resolved the issue and the system has become functional once more. According to the spokesperson, “The issue affecting cryptocurrency sends is now resolved. We identified a bug that affected Coinbase.com in a few countries and have successfully deployed a fix. Cryptocurrency sends through the Coinbase mobile apps were not impacted. We’d like to thank our customers for their patience while we resolved this issue.”

Due to the bug, the withdrawal of fund could not be processed which made the users filled with frustration. In such times, the users leverage the popular social media platform, Twitter to express their hysterical outlook towards the sudden prevention on the platform.

At least in this case, the users and crypto community on Twitter have not directly jumped on to the conclusion of scamming. Usually, in such instances, the first concluding statement made by the users is that of scams.

However, despite, the bug attack on the system, the reputation of this exchange did not tarnish. It can be stated because users have not suspected this crypto exchange of robbing the funds. The exchange is one of those crypto institutions which has managed to build a trustworthy position among the users.

Among few of the latest events at Coinbase, one includes the addition of new plugin for facilitating websites for trading digital currencies. The list of cryptocurrencies involve Bitcoin [BTC], Ethereum [ETH], Bitcoin Cash [BCH] and Litecoin [LTC].

For this particular case, CCN has been informed that though Coinbase has failed to retain few customers due to the technical issues. However, with all the troubling issues resolved Coinbase is again back to the Canadian users and other nations.
