Coinbase, a leading digital currency exchange headquartered in the US, has renewed its money transmitter license for the residents in the US state of Wyoming. Coinbase customers from Wyoming will be again able to use Coinbase products to “buy, sell and use cryptocurrencies”.
The company that aims to build an open financial system for the world, announced on 2nd August on its blog: “Today, we’re happy to report that we have renewed our money transmitter license in Wyoming.”

Coinbase holding high hopes
The leading exchange in its blog stated that it is expects the renewed money transmitter license will boost ‘innovation’,‘economic activity’ and ‘social benefits’. The company said that ‘individuals, families and communities across the state’ will be the ones who will reap from the benefits of this initiative.
Encouraged by its promising initiative, the company said: “We aim to be the most trusted cryptocurrency brand in the space, and as part of that, we seek excellence in compliance and advocate for common-sense policies that allow for innovation. We will continue collaborating with legislators and regulators across the U.S. and worldwide as we work to create open financial system for the world.”

How will the customers from Wyoming benefit?
Coinbase is of the opinion that its customers from the US state will have access to their accounts. They will also have access to their funds. Extending their support to their customers, Coinbase urged their customers to contact them in case they face any issue and get their issue resolved. “If any Wyoming resident is unable to access their accounts or withdraw funds, we encourage them to contact our customer support team to have access restored.”
