Dash [DASH] is now accepted as payment mode in a Brazilian gas station
Dash [DASH] is now accepted as payment for acquiring gas from a Brazilian gas station called SP – Brazil / Businees: Auto Posto GP8 LTDA. Felipe, the owner of the gas station is interviewed by Dash Force News to understand Dash [DASH] cryptocurrency’s manner of proliferation. BCFocus reported about Dash [DASH] coins being rewarded to customers after Dash collaborates with Rewards.com.
The gas station located at Jundiai, Brazil initially accepted Bitcoins [BTC], as per the statement by Felipe. However, the excessive fees and long duration of confirmation made the gas station switch over to Dash [DASH].
Felipe is in all praise for this cryptocurrency while mentioning about its decent wallet and shorter transaction duration. He stated that in a short span of time, Dash [DASH] cryptocurrency has become very popular among the Brazilians.
According to Felipe, “The workers (cashiers) found the Dash [DASH] wallet interface really easy to use and the customers, [whom] are using [the wallet], are loving it because we are giving almost 6% of discount in Dash [DASH].”
Growing popularity of Dash [DASH] in Brazil
History suggests the heavy, complicated bonding that the Brazilians share with the fiat currency. In the interview Felipe mentioned that the government of Brazil changed its national currency ten times since 1964. Nevertheless, the recent happenings in Brazil reflected the intention of the politicians to bring about an inflation in the money supply.
Felipe believes that the prevalence of cryptocurrencies, in general and Dash [DASH], in particular, “can help to save us from the government financial tyranny.” Advertisements in social media platforms like Facebook and others have contributed to lure customers towards this digital curerncy. The users of this coin soon became frequent visitors at the gas station. Unfortunately, factors like short duration spent by customers at the gas station have prohibited them to establish new users.
In the interview, Felipe emphasised on individual campaigns to be organised in Brazil. These campaigns would help to promote knowledge about Dash [DASH] and its benefits to the users. Felipe hinted at the acceptance of this cryptocurrency across Brazil particularly in the major cities like São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Felipe suggested that adoption of cryptocurrency is a better alternative than permitting Brazilian government to misuse national currency.
