The world of blockchain witnessed a new event with Education Ecosystem partnering with Linux Foundation and Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. The notification released on 25th September suggests that the latter two are non-profitable firms. Linux Foundation is one of the prominent technology developers of the world, whereas, Enterprise Ethereum Alliance [EEA] is directed towards promoting applications based on Ethereum blockchain platform.

EEA is the largest open source blockchain based project in the world. With this fresh association, Education Ecosystem, a blockchain company developing Netflix, would get opportunities in future to come in contact with companies leveraging ethereum to produce blockchain solutions which are open sourced.

The notice reads, "Other notable companies that are a part of the organization include: Consensys, Nuco, Intel, Accenture, Microsoft and J.P. Morgan." Education Ecosystem has also powered digital coin called LEDU tokens that are traded on exchanges such as BitForex, IDEX, Livecoin and Exrates.

On the occasion of this collaboration, Education Ecosystem co-founder and CEO Dr. Michael J. Garbade has expressed, "Joining organizations such as the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance and the Linux Foundation will allow us to collaborate with other companies using these technologies to change the world around us. Membership provides us with access to extraordinary businesses and potential partners using Ethereum and Linux to help drive business solutions."

Education Ecosystem will harness the partnership with Linux Foundation by collaborating on Hyperledger project for enabling the progress of blockchain across industry. The Foundation renders services, training sessions, events, infrastructure, resources - intellectual and financial in nature for supporting the setting up of sustainable and open source ecosystem. It has united with open source community, worldwide to resolve the hardest technological issues with the largest investment of shared technology.

Notably, the objective of Enterprise Ethereum Alliance involves development of the blockchain to conduct extensive research in a spectrum of issues such as scalability, security, privacy and confidentiality. EEA is also engaged in carrying out investigation in hybrid architectures that include "both permissioned and public Ethereum networks as well as industry-specific application layer working groups."

Other blockchain based developments

Such developments favour wider adoption of blockchain technology among other industrial players. Recently, UNICEF France has made a declaration regarding the acceptance of donations in the form of cryptocurrencies. The list of digital currencies permitted for the donation includes Ripple's XRP, Bitcoin [BTC], Bitcoin Cash [BCH], Ethereum [ETH], Stellar [XLM], EOS [EOS], Monero [XMR], Dash [DASH] and Litecoin [LTC]. Previously, Linux Redis automated the mining procedure for worm analysis and providing safety recommendations.
