EOS (EOS) has had an eventful few weeks. Especially after the MainNet token swap and the Blockchain Network went live. The cryptocurrency company took to twitter to announce that they’ll be participating in the Japan Blockchain Conference. The conference which will be held in Tokyo starts on June 26th and will continue on till 27th June, 2018.

EOS was recently in the news for freezing transactions from 27 different accounts. The ECAF (EOS Core Arbitration Forum) issued a directive which ordered block producers to not process transactions from those accounts. The ECAF which was set up to resolve any disputes in the community got the crypto community talking with this order. More so because it was issued with a reason or logic behind it.

The crypto company had previously frozen 7 accounts. In this particular instance though, it was said action was taken to stop several thefts. But all the negative publicity this dragged hasn’t affected the Blockchain start-up much. The crypto company invited people to their booth at the conference in their tweet and further directed that the Developer relations Team will be present.

The Japan Blockchain Conference 2018, Tokyo “is the first ever of its kind,” according to the website. It also says that it’ll be “one of the largest blockchain gatherings in Japanese history!” The conference will be held at the Tokyo International Forum and is expected to have over 10,000 visitors! They expect over 100 crypto experts to attend along with blockchain companies and organizations from all across the world.
