MyCrypto, an Ethereum wallet solutions platform developed by the co-founder of MyEtherWallet, has integrated a feature that enables users to schedule ETH transactions beforehand.

MyCrypto released the details of this new function in a Medium Post, mentioning that it can help users schedule an ICO investment, plan subscription payments and set reminders while they are away. MyCrypto reportedly started working on the new function since they planned partnering with ChronoLogic earlier this year.

Jordan Spence, chief marketing officer for MyCrypto, told ETHNews,"I believe we're the first to implement ChronoLogic's scheduling function on the Ethereum mainnet, and we're very excited to see where it goes."

It is the first wallet platform to implement a native crypto transaction scheduling feature with the help of ChronoLogic’s debt smart contracts and the temporal Ethereum-based innovation. With the help of this, users can schedule transactions ahead of time on the Ethereum mainnet.

According to a CCN report, Ethereum co-creator Vitalik Buterin in an interview with the ChronoLogic team stated that scheduling transactions is a very valuable feature. He explained, “I know there were a lot of interest in it [Ethereum alarm clock] way back when Piper created the alarm clock. It seems like something that would be very valuable.”

Taylor Monahan, founder and CEO of MyCrypto, also shared similar thoughts stating, “I think it just opens up the possibility for a lot of things. One of them is multi-step transaction. When you have to complete a step and then you wait for something to happen, whether that is something in the real world or just like with the ENS for example.”
