Huobi has announced that Huobi Autonomous Digital Asset Exchange (HADAX) will merge with Huobi Global and will be upgraded to Huobi Next.

This upgrade will take place before HADAX merges with Huobi Global on September 19.

Hadax 2.0 could be a major help to Huobi by making it feasible to select projects good in quality through the aid of community voting.

“Adhering to the concept of providing innovative digital assets with a development platform and opportunities to showcase projects, HADAX has constantly upgraded the voting mechanism of community voting ever since it was launched. With HADAX 2.0, Huobi has proved to a certain extent the feasibility to select quality projects through community voting. Therefore, Huobi Group has decided to upgrade HADAX to Huobi NEXT and combine it with Huobi Global from a long-term strategic perspective,” read an announcement on Huobi Global’s website.

According to the announcement, trading of coins on the platform will be moved to Huobi Global.

“The merged Huobi NEXT will be displayed in a unified interface with Huobi Global, where trading of all coins on the HADAX will be moved to Huobi Global. Huobi Global will share the brand potential, the trading users and other resources of Huobi Global with Huobi NEXT. The voting and Project Center will also be merged to the main website together with Huobi NEXT,” further read the announcement.

According to an earlier report by BC Focus, Huobi is taking huge steps to show how important they are in the crypto exchange industry. Earlier, in the first week of June Huobi started a new virtual currency marketplace in the US. They have even set an establishment in Brazil during that month. Huobi, a month later, was launched in Australia. Therefore, Huobi is being known as one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world.
