IOTA follows BTC, ETH, BCH, XRP and others to join eToro’s global investment platform 21251

eToro, a social trading and multi asset brokerage company that wants to add as many top cryptoassets to its platform as possible, reached a milestone today as it added IOTA to its number of existing cryptoassets. With the inclusion of IOTA, the cryptoassets count reached 12 for the company. Yoni Assia, Co-founder and CEO at eToro, commented: "At eToro we believe in diversification and we are committed to bringing more cryptoassets onto our platform for our users to invest in.”

The available crypto assets on eToro apart from IOTA

The leading assets that were already available on eToro’s platform are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, XRP, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic, Dash, Stellar, EOS, Cardano and NEO. eToro investors are the actual holders of the available cryptoassets and eToro plays the role of overseeing the coins.

eToro also has plans to include IOTA to its Crypto CopyFund. The fund uses CFDs to help investors to diversify across all available cryptocurrencies (weighted by market cap).

The IoT venture

IOTA performs on a blockless technology is unique to IOTA. It employs Tangle instead of using the promising blockchain technology, which can ledger can make no-fees transaction. Talking about its uniqueness, Assia said: "Today, there are billions of devices that rely on the Internet of Things and this number is growing exponentially, with millions more new sensors added every week, as the planet becomes ever-more connected. IOTA aims to be the 'ledger of everything' by allowing data exchange between the sensor-equipped devices that populate IoT."
