“Lisk Core 1.0 is going to Mainnet”, migration on 29th August
Lisk, a blockchain deploying platform has recently announced that Lisk Core 1.o would soon be migrated to Mainnet. On the official page of the popular social media platform, Twitter, Lisk has specified that only on attaining a particular height the migration will happen.

Significance of Lisk Core 1.0
Furthermore, the blog has shed light on the importance of this new version. With the help of peer to peer review, 1000 issues or more have successfully been resolved. The core has also experienced more than 8000 commits. It would be for the first time that the release would include the improvised process of Quality Assurance [QA].
As per the company statement, the testing phase of Betanet continued for many months for securing stability and code of the best quality. It consists of a new communication layer featuring Peer to Peer [P2P] facility, a new design of API and a data field that is new. Options are present in the data field for the inclusion of custom message with the transaction details of the user.
It has also assigned engineers for managing and controlling the migration procedure that would occur on 29th of this month. The date for the migration has been selected by taking into consideration factors like buffers, exchanges, resources, community, ecosystem alignment, missed blocks and timeframes.
However, in the initial phase of this month, on Twitter the platform has shared the success news of Core 1.0.0-RC.1 migrating to Lisk Core 1.0.0-RC.2. The problems that were prevailing in Lisk 1.0.0-RC.1 have been carefully removed in the newer version of Lisk Core 1.0.0-RC.2.
