Bitcoin Superstore – a crypto-only store – said it would now accept payments made using Nano [NANO]. The store allows users to buy from online retailers who do not charge a membership fee, including Amazon, Alibaba and Walmart.com.

This means that the virtual currency can be used to buy products from over 200,000 online retailers.

The store also supports payments made using Bitcoin [BTC], Bitcoin Cash [BCH], Dash [DASH], Ethereum [ETH], Litecoin [LTC], TRON [TRX] and Ripple’s XRP.

According to Bitcoin Superstore’s website, the company is aiming to add a new cryptocurrency every week to its ever-growing list of digital coins it supports.

The crypto store not only receives orders, but also ensures that the entire process – till delivery of the products – runs smoothly.

Moreover, users can also buy gift cards for stores like Nike, Starbucks, Gamestop and Best Buy from the website. The store charges a nominal 2 percent service fee of the total amount of the order.

The Nano community has welcomed this new development, which could see the cryptocurrency more widely used in day-to-day activities.

NANO adoption around the world could rise

The digital asset has already made a name for itself in real world use cases. A Venezuelan resident was able to buy received 102 kilograms (224 lb) of food in exchange for the coin. The food purchased included cornmeal, meat, rice, sugar, beans, sauces and avocados.

The person received an entire month's salary worth 0.5 NANO and used that to purchase a lot of food that would feed 10 villages.

In July, the Nano network rolled out an upgrade that would fix its scalability issue. The update also re-optimized the network to help increase the volume of traffic to the network.
