NEM Advisor Lon Wong appointed as one of the Huobi Chain’s first public chain consultants
NEM advisor Lon Wong has been appointed as one of Huobi Chain’s first public chain consultants. They announced today through their official twitter handle that they are extremely proud that Lon Whong has been appointed as one of the Huobi Chain’s first public chain consultants to select and advice participants in its public blockchain development competition.
He is the third consultant to be appointed in Huobi Chain and Lon is currently the only one who is from blockchain field. He Heads ProximaX Ltd and leads the development of a blockchain powered storage and streaming platform – all-in-one development- for broader cross-industry application and decentralized app development.
They further revealed that Huobi is launching a public chain development competition and has allocated 30 million Huobi tokens[approx. USD 116 million] to the winner who will be chosen to develop the project. ProximaX and NEM team should be encouraged to participate in this using NEM Catapult technology.
Past week was a fortunate week for NEM. The token traded 20.3% higher against the US dollar during the one day period ending at 20:00 PM E.T. on July 2nd. One NEM coin can now be purchased for about $0.20 or 0.00003079 BTC on major exchanges including Cryptomate, Iquant, Zaif, and Binance. NEM has a total market cap of $1.82 billion and $38.67 million worth of XEM was traded on exchanges in the last 24 hours. During the last seven days, it has traded up 27.4% against the US. On Live Coin Watch, it’s showing somewhere in the field of a 40% rise over the last 24 hours, while CoinMarketCap has it closer to 20%.

Past to days was quite happening for NEM. They launched a new wallet in the market in the form of the security and UI-focused mobile Raccoon Wallet which is focused on Japan.
Also, yesterday they announced the partnership with Pillar project bringing two huge acclaimed teams together and giving them an extremely valuable tool in the form of an identity management system for the network.
