Tutellus is a decentralized platform where students get paid to learn and study from the study material on the platform. The platform will alter course material using the NEM blockchain. This will change how understudies and instructors understand, give and gain knowledge.
The Tutellus platform will use two tokens to reward students and teachers who participate in the learning process. The tokens are TUT and Smart TUT or STUT, these coins are interoperable with the NEM (XEM) blockchain. The STUT token measures the user’s relevance in the network while TUT provides access to the platform. These tokens will be used for functionality over time, like purchasing products and services. In addition, it’ll also serve as a measure of relevance, and for governance purposes.
Tutellus wants to change education’s incentive structure by shifting their business to a token driven ecosystem on the NEM (XEM) blockchain. Education has always focused on long-term rewards and offers minimal to no short-term incentives. And the long term rewards which are based on the efforts of students generally take years to bear fruit. Teachers and students will earn tokens immediately on the Tutellus Blockchain in exchange for accomplishing course related goals and achievements.
