Now HackerOne is handling Tron [TRAX] foundation’s Bug Bounty program
Tron Foundation launched a Bug Bounty Program with the highest reward of USD$10 million in the month of May. The crypto companies bug bounty was focused at discovering potential technical vulnerabilities in the mainnet with the help of community members, especially those who specialize in global network security, to sustain Tron mainnet as the most secure public blockchain in the industry and to provide safe and stable infrastructure and services to DApps deployed on the mainnet. The Tron Foundation attaches utmost importance to the security of mainnet.
Another bug bounty program conducted in June handed over a total of $25000 to five developers. However, it will be the last bug bounty program handled by TRON foundation. According to EthereumWorldNews HackerOne is running a new bug bounty program different from the initial Mainnet Bug Bounty program. This program will be in effect soon.
The program called the Github Bounty program has categorized four different bugs with respective rewards. The four categories are critical, high, medium and low. The critical category corresponds to a price of $10,000. These will identify bugs that can control Java-Tron nodes by remote execution and also bugs that will lead to private key leakage. The high category includes bugs obtain Denial of Service (DoS) in Java-Tron through a Peer-to-Peer network or through RPC-API. The developers that identify a bug from the High category will be awarded $6000.
The company's bug bounty attempts aim to secure all blockchain transactions and close all loopholes to have flawless transactions. TRX is currently trading at $0.0345 and is gaining against 3.31%. It is displaying a continuing uptrend. The current resistance level can be found at $0.034 and the prices are struggling to touch $0.035 mark.
