O3 Alliance to amplify the reach of dApps in the NEO ecosystem
O3 Labs, a mobile gateway to the NEO Smart Economy, has recently introduced the O3 Alliance, a new framework that will help in improving the reach of dApps in the NEO ecosystem. With the O3 Alliance framework, the company aims to eliminate the users’ need to be application-reliant or trust any external services with their private keys.
The O3 Alliance follows the company’s integration with the Switcheo Exchange that is designed to facilitate a simpler trading experience for digital assets on NEO.
The O3 Alliance designed to improve dApp adoption for the NEO ecosystem
“Today we’re releasing our developer documentation for how to integrate your DAPP with the world’s largest mobile ecosystem for the NEO and Ontology blockchains,” announced O3 Labs on 21st August.
The current process is not much fruitful equally for the developers and the application users. At present, a Dapp developer in the NEO ecosystem has to regularly work on their own wallet for users. This facilitates the users to get their hands on the application that the developer is working on. The developer is also compelled to own the sole responsibility in managing and storing private keys securely for the users.
The O3 Alliance is striving to resolve the hiccups. dApp developers won’t be having any direct access to the private key and they have to send requests to the users requests whenever they must sign a transaction. The exchange is done with the assistance of private key that is stored on the O3 wallet. This implies a client would just need to store their private key on the O3 wallet application. In actuality, this would enable a cell phone to work in a comparative way to a Ledger Hardware Wallet.
