TRON’s mainnet swap was carried out on 20 June 2018. User’s token was automatically transferred to the new mainnet. Earlier it was announced by OKEx that when they resume TRX deposit and withdrawal, users will be informed once the stability of mainnet operation is assured.
Earlier it was notified to its users that during the suspension, the current existing deposit address of TRX will be discarded. If a user deposits to the old address, then the deposit will not be retrievable. Also, after the completion of the mainnet swap, the system will generate a new TRX deposit address. Even users were warned to use the new updated address instead of the old one to prevent any asset loss.
The exchange even warned its users- blog post reads, “Trading digital assets involves significant risk and can result in the loss of your invested capital. You should ensure that you fully understand the risk involved and take into consideration your level of experience, investment objectives and seek independent financial advice if necessary.”
