VeChain chosen for Japan’s largest telecom company to aid its 5G Partner Program 20369

VeChain has sealed a strategic partnership by shaking its hands with NTT Docomo- the largest telecommunication company in Japan. The news surfaced on 6th August as the company posted on Twitter, stating: “VeChain is chosen for the NTT Docomo 5G Partner Program.”

What is VeChain saying about the partnership?

‘Proud to participate in this program’, it will work in collaboration with multiple cross-industry enterprises. The company sees this partnership to be promising as this ‘partnership program has already opened new doors for further cooperation on new endeavors’.

‘…many new partnerships have been formulated and services will be onboarded to the VeChainThor Blockchain,’ the company said.

Elaborating what they are trying to accomplish, the Singapore based organization said: “Our goal is to enhance and enrich our current data services capacity within traceability, supply chain management, and smartphones for our users. With our ongoing effort to bring traceability use cases in Japan into our ecosystem, the 5G program will bring additional value to VeChain’s presence in the region.”

NTT's 5G dream

The blockchain platform that focuses on financial services, supply chain management, and smart contracts announced that it is one of the first batch of partners for the 5G Open Partner Program launched by NTT Docomo.

The leading Japanese telecom company has started building its own network of partners to attain its 5G high-speed/capacity network service goal in the next 2 years. And to help NTT Docomo attain its goal, VeChain will be assisting the company with ‘next-generation technology services by utilizing 5G in collaboration with NTT Docomo on the VeChainThor Blockchain’.
