Common opposition in Pakistan has shaken the foundation of the Imran Khan government. Imran Khan, who tries to reinvigorate his political land, again resorts to the army and the ISI. On the other hand, the joint opposition has also announced its next anti-government rally in Peshawar on November 22. The Pakistani government, agitated by the crowd gathered at the first two opposition rallies, is now showing fear of a terrorist attack on the rallies.
Danger of terrorist attack during an opposition rally
The Minister of Labor and Culture of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government province, Shaukat Yusufzai, has urged a coalition of opposition parties to postpone their next rally in Peshawar in anticipation of a terrorist attack. PDM leaders ignored the Labor Minister’s request and did not comment on it. Political analysts believed Yousafzai’s stature was not the same as asking opposition leaders to postpone the rally.
11 opposing parties united against Imran
The 11 Pakistani opposition parties have formed a joint alliance called the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to oust the Imran government from power. This coalition has launched an anti-government movement made up of three phases as part of an action plan to oust the Imran Khan government. The PDM had previously held rallies in Gujranwala, Karachi and Quetta. He now plans to do his next performance in Peshawar on November 22.
Opposition against the army and the ISI
The opposition coalition alleged that the military rigged Khan two years ago to put him in power. The Pakistani military has denied any interference in politics. At the same time, Imran Khan also denied that the military helped him win the elections. He also retaliated against opposition parties for attacking the army and the ISI.
Nawaz Sharif is an attacker on Imran
Nawaz Sharif, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan and currently living as a fugitive in London, openly targeted Pakistani Army General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) on several repeated in his speeches. Nawaz also accused the two of having hatched a plot to overthrow their government. He also said that in the 2018 elections, the army made the incompetent Imran Khan prime minister by removing me from power.
Imran’s Claim – Opposition speaking Modi’s language
These days, there has been a lot of uproar over the statement by PMML-N leader Ayaz Sadiq in Pakistan. He had exposed Pakistani public opinion on the release of Abhinandan, the squadron commander of the Indian Air Force. After which, upon his statement, many ministers of Imran called him an agent of India. Now Imran Khan has broken the silence on his statement saying that the opposition leader speaks the language of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
