It is also claimed in the report that the terrorists also took hostages of many people, including members of the Pakistani military. However, DG ISPR, the media wing of the Pakistani military, confirmed the deaths of only two soldiers.

The Pakistani army made this statement
The ISPR statement said the Pakistani army launched a search operation after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. During this fierce encounter took place between the Pakistani army and the terrorists. During which three terrorists were killed, while a Pakistani army captain, Abdul Basit and police officer Hazrat Bilal were killed.

Army operation still in progress in the region
The Pakistani army has launched a massive operation to eliminate other terrorists in the area. Last month, a Balochistan Frontier Corps soldier was killed in an attack on M-8 near Shapak in the Hoshab district of the same state. Apart from that, on June 25, five Frontier Corps members were killed in an attack by terrorists in Sibi, Balochistan.

Terrorists killed five soldiers in the first week of July
In early July, terrorists killed five members of the Pakistani army in two attacks. The first attack was carried out by terrorists from inside Afghanistan on a military post in the Dwatoi region of the North Waziristan tribal district. In this attack, two members of the Pakistani army, Havildar Salim, 43, and Lance Naik Parvez, 35, were killed. While the second attack was carried out against Pakistani security forces in New Kala in Tiarza tehsil of South Waziristan tribal district. Three jawans were killed in this attack while many more were injured.

Pakistan condemns Afghanistan for terrorism
Islamabad has repeatedly asked Kabul to ensure effective border control on its side. Under a pretext, Pakistan has declared that it strongly condemns the continued use of Afghan soil for terrorist activities. While the whole world knows the truth that the Pakistani military and the ISI intelligence agency have helped feed the terrorists in Afghanistan.
