Putin said Russia is the only country in the world that is ready to transfer vaccine technology and increase production abroad. The Russian vaccine Sputnik-V vaccine is being sold in 66 countries, he said. With certain conditions, the vaccine has been approved by Drug Controller India f India i.e. DGCI for study, testing and preparation of Serum Institute India f India in India with certain conditions.

On allegations about the effectiveness of the Sputnik-V vaccine, Putin said the delay in vaccine registration in Europe was due to competition there and interests in the corporate sector.
