The XV National Congress to Streamline Spanish Hours will be held from November 16 to 19

ARHOE will celebrate from November 16 to 19, from its YouTube channel, the fifteenth edition of the National Congress to rationalize Spanish hours.

This national congress, entitled Hours, conciliation and new models of work organization in the online era, has the specific objectives of: analyzing new forms of work organization and personal interrelationships based on new technologies; to raise awareness of the need for equality and co-responsibility as determining factors for the integral development of people, their well-being and health and, consequently, of society; show how without equality and without co-responsibility there is no reconciliation of professional, family and personal life; and understand the positive relationship between time reconciliation and rationalization measures with job satisfaction, productivity and organizational sustainability. All this in the perspective of the current crisis in which we are plunged by the pandemic and its impact on these issues.

According to Jos Luis Casero, president of ARHOE, with this fifteenth national congress we intend to continue to advance in the awareness of society and in decision-making by the administrations and the business, trade union and social world, in order to that conciliation, joint responsibility, equality and rationalization of schedules cease to be something we all aspire to become a reality. The time to act is now more than ever.


The congress will be broadcast over four days, each one dedicated to a thematic axis, in which the following questions will be analyzed:

November 16: New models of work organization

“Time saving, telework and work flexibility: how to combine it?”, “Telework regulation and work disconnection regulation” and “New forms of leadership, culture and values ​​in organizations”.

November 17: use of time, care and co-responsibility

“Adaptation of work and school hours in a remote society”, “Care economy: productive work vs. reproductive work ”and“ Corporate culture, equality and co-responsible working time, a necessary development ”.

November 18: Hours, health and life balance

“Healthy work environments. Prevention in occupational safety and health ”,“ Rational working hours: healthy companies ”,“ Healthy habits, schedules and sleep in times of crisis ”

November 19: Time management and presentation of the XV ARHOE Prize

The last day of the congress will begin with a conference on “Technological humanism and time management” and will award the 15th Prize for rationalizing Spanish hours in its three modalities: entity, institution or citizen; business and communication medium.

The congress will be inaugurated by the president of AROEE, Jos Luis Casero, the director general of family diversity and social services of the Ministry of Social Rights and Agenda 2030, Patricia Bezurnatea, and the advisor of the presidency of the Community of Madrid, Patricia Carballedo.

The event will be closed by the President of ARHOE and the Director General of Equality of the Community of Madrid, Cristina Lpez-Cobo.
