Geneva / London
The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) said that a person infected with Kovid-19 will be isolated upon contact. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyes tweeted on Sunday evening that he was “ fine and had no symptoms ” but “ according to WHO rules, he will remain isolated and work from home in the coming days ”.
The WHO Director-General is at the forefront of the global fight against the corona virus epidemic. According to Joss Hopkins University, 4.65 million people have been infected with the epidemic while 1.2 million people have lost their lives. However, the WHO chief’s tweet does not say who has been infected among the people he contacts. The United Nations Health Agency is in Geneva where cases are on the rise and strict restrictions were announced on Sunday to prevent the virus from spreading.
Prince William of England was born in Corona in April
Britain’s Prince William also had the corona virus and that was apparently around the same time his father, Prince Charles, was confirmed to have a corona virus infection earlier this year. This information was given in a BBC newspaper. The news cited news from palace and The Sun newspaper sources that Prince William had not given information about his infection because he did not want to disturb anyone.
Kingston Palace declined to comment on it but did not deny the news. The newspaper said in its information that William had been treated by palace doctors and that government guidelines were followed for this purpose. Significantly, Prince Charles was showing mild symptoms of a Corona virus infection in March. When first meeting the public after getting rid of the infection, he said that when he was sick his sense of smell was gone and he couldn’t taste anything.
